When Emily's mom first reach out to photograph Emily's Clemson graduate portraits, I had no idea the true importance and ties her family had to Clemson University. I soon found out that not only did her parents meet at Clemson, but that her great-great-grandfather is Enoch Sikes (yes, as in Sikes Hall!!). I loved receiving her mom's emails about their Clemson history and seeing all the photos she sent me to help tell their story.
One of the photos Emily's mom sent me was one of herself jumping in front of Sikes Hall during her graduate portrait session in 1994. It was a no brainer to have Emily recreate the photo 30 years later as a surprise for her mom!
Emily chose our 2023 Grad Portrait Package and decided to do her session at Tillman Hall/Sikes Hall and the Reflection Pond.
