Can You Bring a Friend or Parent to Your Senior Session? Here’s What You Need to Know!

One of the most common questions I get from seniors when booking their session is: Can I bring someone with me? And the answer is absolutely YES! In fact, I highly recommend bringing 1-2 people along to make your session even more fun, relaxed, and stress-free!

Whether it’s your mom, best friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, or roommate, having a familiar face by your side can make all the difference. Not only can they help carry your outfit changes and accessories, but they can also be your personal hype squad cheering you on, making you laugh, and helping you feel completely at ease in front of the camera.

That being said, here are a few tips for choosing the best person (or people!) to bring to your senior session:

1. Pick someone who hypes you up! This is your moment to shine, so bring someone who makes you feel confident and comfortable. A supportive friend or family member can bring out your natural smile and help ease any nerves.

2. Keep it to 1-2 people. While it’s great to have support, too many people can become distracting. A small group allows for a fun, relaxed vibe without overwhelming the session.

3. Make sure they’re ready to help! Your guest might be helping with small things like holding your outfit changes, adjusting your cap and gown, or keeping track of your accessories.

4. Avoid bringing anyone who might make you feel self-conscious. If someone tends to be overly critical or makes you second-guess yourself, it’s totally okay to keep this as a solo experience or bring a different support person.

At the end of the day, my goal is to make sure you feel confident, comfortable, and completely YOU during your senior session. If bringing a loved one helps make that happen, I’m all for it! So grab your hype person, and let’s make some unforgettable memories!
